Boxing Fee - Double Corrugated Boxes - We use durable boxes (18x12x8) with handles for $2.50 per box for Commercial & Farmers Brand. Custom Processing boxes are free. 
Storage Fee - After 3 business days if you do not pick up your product then a $25 per day storage fee will be applied to your invoice if prior arrangements have not been made.
Condemned Animals - Flat Fees - Beef $250, Pigs $150 & Lamb $100
 Boned out under Inspection - Some animals are required to be monitored while processing due to meat quality issues, depending on the issues there may be additional charges for the time it will take. 


Scheduling Policy

At the time of Scheduling your animal/s please advise us of the Type, Age and Size of Animal, Custom or Commercial, Labeling Requests, Patties/Links, Smoking, as Processing times are different for Each animal and we need to coordinate our processing schedule based on that. if too large or small of an animal arrives at drop off we do have the right to refuse it. If you are requesting a later drop off please ask.

Cancellation Policy

Please notify us of cancellations/changes 14 days before your appointment. We have customers that would like an appointment earlier than scheduled so we appreciate the advance notice that you give us. Any cancellations made less than 14 days are subject to paying the Slaughter & Rendering Fee per Animal(s) cancelled. If you have more than 6 animals then we require 21 days notice. If you book your appointment with more than 6 animals we will hold your credit card number on file. 

Cut Sheets

Cut sheets are required upon drop off of the animal. if no cut sheet is present at drop off then there will be a $25 fee. We process lamb, sheep, goat and pork within a few days so it is important to know how the animal is being processed for scheduling purposes. We appreciate your understanding. 

If you have any special processing requests please ask and we will do our best to accommodate you.

*if you request any offal items(Heart, Liver or Tongue) on the cut sheet please know that they are not guaranteed, they need to pass USDA inspection. 

 *Please let someone know at drop off if you are requesting to keep your Pig feet & ears, Cow or Lamb/Sheep hide. There will also be extra slaughter fees for you to keep any hides, heads, horns or feet. The fee is due to the extra time it will take during slaughter to meet your requests. We do not guarantee any hides, we skin as best as we can but there will be slits and holes.

We no longer accept Sows or Boars Over 400 lbs. Live Weight

We do not accept any beef that have horns over 36 inches and if the hind quarter is taller than 6 ft.

Age Affidavits - If you are dropping a Beef/Lamb off and need certain cuts or species labeled be sure to provide proper documentation with Tag and Date of Birth for each animal.

We have the right to refuse any producer/animal that is not booked with this facility, please do not show up if you do not have an appointment.


Processing Requests

We process pork, lamb, sheep & goat by the whole animal. We Only Process Beef by Halves. We do not process Beef animals by quarters or split halves. this is due to the variance of the cutting requested. We recommend that you process the half with one cut sheet and separate the cuts on how you would like to distribute them to your customer. 

We do not process any animals half commercial and half custom, the animal must be processed all of the same way. 

We are an allergen free facility and seasonings used here are allergen free. if you are wanting to use your own seasoning please remember no allergens and we will need a letter of guarantee from the supplier. 

Any special or specific processing requests are due in advance to your appointment to ensure we can accommodate you, seasoning/smoking. 
Any additional processing/shipping requests are subject to additional fees. 

Further Processing,  Linking/Patties/Smoking Regular or Nitrite Free is not guaranteed if equipment fails or during certain times of the year. Please confirm further processing requests at time of booking.

Labels

All Claims on Labels Need to be Approved by USDA
We can help you with this, Organic(as long as you are State Certified), Grass Fed, Vermont Raised, No Hormones, Angus, Wagyu, etc.
We can submit paperwork to USDA directly to get your approval. 
 $250 to have this done for you.

Animal Drop Off 

Animals need to be dropped off between 6:30 to 7 a.m. on the day of slaughter unless other arrangements have been made. 

If your animals arrive past 7 a.m. we have the right to refuse them or bill you additional slaughter fees for the late arrival. Additional Slaughter fees are $150 per Hour that you are late.

we do not house animals overnight. 

All customers dropping off animals are asked to wait for assistance from one of our trained employees to Assist unload your animal. 

We also request that you have a proper trailer to unload the animal that you are bringing, we take pride in humane handling and if it is at all unsafe for the animal to unload from your trailer we will ask you to come back with the proper trailer to do so. 

Turn Around Time for Pick Up of Product
 
There is a minimum of a 3 week turn around time to receive processed product back. We do our best to get your product back to you in a timely fashion but it fully depends on the time of the year. 

Pick Up Time

Your finished product is available for pick up between 10-11 a.m. then from 2-3 p.m., Monday Through Thursday. Fridays vary in time so please ask. You are required to schedule your pick up during these hours. If you are unable to make it in during these days and times please call us to set up your pick up time. Please remember the storage fee if proper pick up arrangements are not made. 

We are still requesting only one pick up per customer. 



Product Not Picked Up after 60 Days

Product that is not picked up and paid for in full within 60 days of being notified that the processing is complete will be forfeited and property of the plant. You will also be charged the slaughter/processing fees on the credit card you have on file with us.



Notification of Processing Questions or Concerns

Questions regarding processing errors need to be addressed with management within 5 business days of receiving your finished product. We understand mistakes do happen so we would like to analyze the issue internally to make a decision on further accommodating any concerns financially. We will not be able to accommodate concerns after 5 business days. 
It is your responsibility to go through the received product immediately to verify your processed product. 



Financial Responsibility of Producer

If for any reason that your customer does not satisfy their portion of expenses, you the producer that owned, brought & scheduled the animal is fully responsible for those expenses. we do not structure your product/animals sales for you. this is an agreement that you made with that party and not our facility. therefore the original producer is responsible for compensating our business for any services rendered. 

Payment of Product is required in Full at time of pick-up.

Credit Card Fees - 3% fee on any credit or debit card.
